WCM Pledge
  1. Add my local farm, ranch, or CSA to the USDA Food Directory webpage (if applicable).
  2. Shop local at least six times a year by supporting the local farmers market, local butcher, local barter or trade, u-pick, or join a local Community Supported Agriculture subscription (CSA).
  3. Grow local food in a garden (home, community garden, greenhouse, hoop house, etc.)
  4. Volunteer at a local food bank or pantry to serve or distribute participants fresh food items.
  5. Serve local produce at my restaurant, special event, or catering business (if applicable).
  6. Organize local food swaps and/or other neighborhood events to celebrate the abundance of local produce during the summer (every now and then we have a bumper year!)
  7. I will attend the Regional Annual Fall Meet n’ Greet Potluck Dinner to celebrate and network with other residents/farmers/organizations in the WCMFC interested in strengthening the local food system.
  8. I will consider joining an action team in my town to provide leadership in moving the goals of the WCMFC forward.

I understand that the WCMFC members will be updated on a three-year schedule and the individual, farm, ranch, or organizations will be listed on the webpage. I will be reminded in 2020 to refresh my membership via email. Failure to respond will indicate that I am no longer interested in supporting the efforts through my membership pledge to this organization.

I understand that communication for this network will take place through email.

I understand that my information will not be shared with third parties. I agree to receive less than a dozen emails per year. This will include the annual newsletter, meeting announcements, occasional surveys, and other communications as needed.
